We say good-bye to Miss Erica
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
As the end of November is quickly approaching, we have to say good bye
to Erica Boleen, our Director of Christian Education. Erica has decided to
become a full time student at McCook Community College, studying
speech and drama education.
During October's quarterly voters' assembly, the congregation gave Erica a peaceful release from her position as DCE. Her final day as DCE will be November 30th, 2008. We wish her well and God's blessings as she moves forward into another chapter of her life.
As of now, Peace has not made a decision as to whether or not a new DCE will be called. We will keep everyone posted to any updates.

Construction Continues...
With the pounding of nails and humming of table saws, Peace's building addition moves forward. The Matson brothers have been working dilligently on drywalling the new rooms. As they continue, rooms are gaining a true definition of what they will look like when completed.
As with most construction sites, the dust has a tendicy to fly. But with help from the contractors and our congregational volunteers, the church has maintained a low level of dust on the furniture, walls, etc...
We thank our members for being so patient with the project. Peace Lutheran is looking forward to using its new facilities to help educate others about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May all our labor be to the glory of God!
